Solar, Recyclable and LED Signs
At Display Signs we are always open to new ideas and technology to provide you with the best signage. With that in mind, we have developed a range of signs that can be illuminated by more environmentally friendly and cost-efficient solar power and LEDs and, where possible, made with recyclable materials.
Solar Powered Signs Our range includes entrance signs for schools, hotels, hospitals and care homes that are self-contained and can be sited away from buildings without the need for an expensive electrical supply. Our systems use a 12v solar panel that feeds power to a very efficient LED based down lighter system. A battery is placed in the circuit to store energy during the day. This enables 3-4 hours illumination each night controlled by a timer. Solar powered signs are eco-friendly and low maintenance, making them an attractive alternative to traditional illuminated signs.
LED Signs We have replaced bent neon or fluorescent tube lights with LEDs (light emitting diodes) for illuminated signs. They work on 12v or 24v for safety, use very low power and last for 1000’s of hours’ use. LEDs are exceptionally bright, low maintenance and can be fitted in small spaces.
Recyclable Materials We manufacture signs from materials that can be recycled, such as aluminium, composite sheet and acrylic, and recycled materials including our innovative, indestructible plastic wood range made from black plastic bags. These signs conform to local authority and company environmental policies, enhance the local area and are eco-friendly.
QR Codes on Signs Including a QR code on your sign is a great way for customers to get immediate access to your company website, or receive further information, via their smart phone. Stunning free advertising and up to date technology – showing you are ahead of the game!
